Is a non-profit institution in Bangladesh to promote reading habits, Shobvoshachy Shitato Songsod enlightenment and progressive ideas among students and general public? Cultivating in the youth of Bangladesh a love for literature and its humanizing values through exposure.

It operates a nation-wide reading program, and for the students. In 2000, is continuing its works with a motto, The Kendra activities are mostly based in Bangladesh.

The Mission of Shobvoshachy Shitato Songsod is ‘to raise the dignity and socio-economic conditions of children and youth, especially the working poor and the under-privileged, living in urban and peri-urban areas, through education and skills training, awareness raising and advocacy for ensuring good governance to a level that they can effectively participate in national development with enhanced capacity and fulfilment of their basic rights.
