HISTORY:

The establishment of the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) is one of the many unforgettable creations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to rebuild the country after independence. The country’s economy was severely damaged during the war of liberation in 1971. In order to build a new country in a shattered economy, there is an urgent need to ensure adequate supply of essential consumer goods and supply of consumer goods to the people at fair prices. In view of this, the Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) was established on 01 January 1972 through the establishment order no. 68/1972. T.K Corporation is working with the government to ensure the essential products for the common people through TCB and reach them to their doorsteps.

INTENT:

The main objective of T.K Corporation is to reach the daily necessities of government to the doorsteps of the common people easily run by the TCB.
